April 2025 Outfits

I’ve been reflecting on what I wore in April—this is my fourth month analyzing my outfits like this, and I’m really starting to understand what statement pieces mean to me. I love the way a colorful bag, belt, printed silk scarf, or floral print can elevate something classic. A little personalization goes a long way, I suppose. Looking back, I would’ve loved to mix in more special textures or prints—like bold stripes or embroidery—to cut through the flatness of some outfits. I’ll be keeping an eye out; you really have to grab those gems when they speak to you.

The base of my wardrobe this time of year leans heavily on comfy, neutral basics. I just picked up this white maxi and these elastic waist linen pants, and I already know I’ll be living in them over the next couple months. One takeaway: I’d love to add more pastel sweaters for easy layering.

My go-to jackets right now are all lightweight and oversized—perfect for layering. I grabbed this forest green one up from Aritizia a when my mom was in town a couple weeks ago, and I haven’t stopped wearing it. It’s become a staple, whether I’m in workout gear or heading out for the evening. It has that perfect drape you can count on.

This month’s outfits skewed long, loose, and flowy, which matched my mood. I’m in a bit of a transitional period and haven’t felt as polished or bold—aside from the night I gave a corporate talk at Spring Fertility. I pulled out a tweed Veronica Beard blazer and paired it with wide-leg black linen pants. There’s something about a tailored piece like that—it just helps you feel more grounded in yourself.

And basically, I wore ballet flats every day this past month. It hasn’t quite been sandal season yet, but boots feel too heavy. So grateful for my range of Margaux Demi flats—they’re my go-tos whether I need a classic or a pop of color.
