I’ve been scrolling The Real Real quite regularly lately and finally feel like I’ve got a good grasp on my saved searches list! I’m so excited about these two finds that I’m sharing them here all styled up.

The first is a Cara Cara peplum top from last fall that I couldn’t stop eyeing on Shopbop but didn’t want to pay $395 for. I don’t mind investing in things I know for sure I’ll have and wear for a long time, like Jenni Kayne and La Ligne sweaters, but it’s hard for me to justify spending a few hundred dollars on fashion top. There’s something about the print of this one that would be perfect on a couch or chairs, or just to have and wear in your closet 🙂 The fabric is a sateen poplin that feels so luxe and it fits so well. I love the creamy beige ground color and hits of peacock blue and aqua. It’s such a playful silhouette but the more grown up print balances it out. Best part is that I scored it for $140! They currently have another one available in size medium here.

Even though it was originally priced at $730, I almost splurged on this Horror Vacui dress when I first saw it last spring on Net-A-Porter. Can you see the sweet scalloped details at the hem and the heart applique that says HV? Not to mention it’s the perfect ditsy spring print. I just love pink and green together so much!

I’m pretty sure I manifested this find by posting it front and center on a vision board last spring. I found it on The Real Real a few weeks ago for $138! It’s a size XS and was non-returnable so I took a risk on it. I read an old product listing of it that said you could size down. Sure enough she’s perfect. I’m excited to wear her in Austin next week while I’m visiting friends. I think she’ll look cute with a light weight army jacket over her plus I just recently pulled the trigger on these sandals I’ve been eyeing since last year. I think they will go with so many of the dresses I already have in my closet!

I don’t think I would have purchased either of these had I not seen them on a model in past seasons. The Real Real is tricky like that, you really have to know what you want or allow your imagination to bring things to life for you! They have a decent return policy so that helps. Curious if you’ve found anything good lately? A client of mine texted me a dreamy YSL leather jacket she found. I love seeing what other people like!
