Vintage Unboxing- Vol. 1

When I announced I was closing my shop, the number of messages I received about missing my weekly vintage unboxings was so sweet. I hope these curated edits bring you that same joy and vibe. Creating collages like these brings me just as much happiness as selling did.

To put these posts together, I go through the same process I used when buying and reselling—but now, I get to share even more with you, without the pressure of items needing to sell quickly. This way I can offer a wider variety of options and better deals too!

You can always count on me to share my expertise on rarity, quality, and authenticity with these curations. In this new chapter, my hope is to empower you to feel confident in your own curating and sourcing.

One thing I loved about the unboxing videos was how they created space for you to be present, to really take in the beauty of each piece. My hope is that this new format helps you feel that same connection. When we check in with how we’re feeling, we can trust we’ll know what’s truly meant for us. So if a piece speaks to you, you know what to do!

I plan to share these edits with you weekly—give or take a week here and there when life or travel calls. I’m getting ready for a trip to Mexico soon and was particularly inspired to hunt for pretty beaded necklaces, bright summer bags and statement jewelry. This is what I found that’s the best of the best right now- in price, quality and style.

BAGS

Chanel Mini Bag– Alright to be honest, this one I’ve linked to at The Real Real wouldn’t pass my quality test but I just adore this lipstick pink color- she’s rare. I dug up this one on eBay that is better quality and the same price. This color will be the new accent on my website, and I’d love to own one someday!

Bottega Nodini Bag– Quite honestly I’m shocked this bag hasn’t sold yet, I’ve been tracking it for awhile now. The rich cobalt blue is so stunning! I love bright Bottega leather bags so much- this one reminds me of the ocean.

Gucci Raffia Bamboo Bag– you have to check out the cute checked lining inside of her. This bag is a summer work of art with the raffia and bamboo- and only $690 too!

JEWELRY

Hermès Enamel Bangle– loving the bright colors and wide width, this is such a playful find. It has a few scratches but I would still buy it. The price is incredible at $318, normally these go for around $600! New for this width is $880.

Givenchy Aqua Statement Necklace– I don’t normally buy on 1st Dibs because it’s generally higher priced but this is such a rare find that warrants the price.

Givenchy Aqua Statement Earrings– I found the matchings earrings on eBay for $50!

Turquoise Ball Statement Necklace– I may have to snag this one. Perfect length and love the bead variation. Feels elevated and is only $129 which is a steal for turquoise.

Amethyst & Turquoise Fringe Statement Necklace– I envision letting this do the talking with an incredible dress this summer. Maybe something black or white?

SCARVES

Hermès Index Bromeliaceae Scarf– circa 2022 by Katie Scott. This one is $479 and this print goes commonly for $600 so this is a steal. Free shipping from Japan. Mint condition and such a beautiful print for summer- especially if you like pineapples.

BELTS

Chanel Quilted Belt– I want a white belt for summer so bad! I’ve been dreaming about this one. Condition looks great too. This is super rare so it’s priced accordingly. I hate that The Real Real doesn’t give much info around belt sizing- the description makes it sound super small but it’s marked as size small so I think it would be worth a shot if you’re a jeans size 24-26. You can always return it!

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. If you ever have questions on an item, or are looking for something specific, drop it in the chat! I love connecting over vintage so much.
