We can learn all the things and push ourselves to the max but at the end of the day, if we’re not able to accept ourselves exactly where we’re at we’ll constantly be disappointed. ⁣⁣⁣

I’ve been passionate about personal (and biz) development ever since the internet popped. It all started with a love affair for Seth Godin, Todd Henry and a bunch of other marketing gurus. ⁣⁣⁣

My nightstand has had piles and piles of books on it for the last decade. I’m obsessed with knowing how to create remarkable things which has also led me to become passionate about unblocking stuck patterns. My thirst won’t ever be quenched! Putting my loves into practice though is another story. It requires radical honesty that we’re not as perfect (yet) as what we see is possible. ⁣The algorithm will always push us to expand by showing us the best of the best. ⁣⁣

Which is the root of so much frustration for myself (and so many of the clients I talk to every day). I think lowering the standards is an act of kindness to ourselves. Alignment with small goals, and then crushing them, is what keeps us in the game. And the cherry on top is that it opens up space for us to receive the right next best step. We don’t have to be responsible for it all right now 🍒

Austin, thanks for filling me up with antiques and some of my favorite friends. This mid-century vase is the official souvenir of the trip (that and a splurge on the @ganni black tie top)! Love collecting pieces that remind me of my travels. What I especially want to remember from this trip is the bit of wisdom that we were all inspired by - “sometimes the decision you make isn’t as important as making a decision and committing to it.” ✨

1. Agolde Ren Jeans- the perfect wide leg for shorties (I’m 5’3” for reference), wearing size 26⁣

Favorite finds at Roundtop this year! I didn’t buy anything here this trip but am coming home with sooo much good inspiration. Highly recommend for anyone who loves vintage and/ or home decor! Rugs, textiles, furniture and decor galore- both new & old. We only had a day to shop so we focused on Blue Hills, The Horseshoe and Market Hill which are a lot more curated venues than your typical flea market style!

Been scrolling on @therealreal a bit more often and manifested these two finds (a @caracara_nyc top and @horrorvacuimunich dress) from last spring and fall that I had so detachedly posted to a vision board. Love when that happens! I’m finding the condition of their clothing to be much more impressive than their accessories, which in my opinion spans too wide in quality. It’s inspired me to set up a set of semi-specific searches that I’m checking every day or so for a surprising find. Currently have an Ulla Johnson sweater tank on the way! And would love a pair of Missoni pants, oversized Burberry (or Barbour) quilted jacket and feminine leather jacket someday. Here’s to mini manifestations bringing joy! 🤗
