Rhode Wrap Dress

Rhode Wrap Dress (secondhand from TRR), Tank, Vintage Necklace, JeansFlats

I recently purchased this lightweight cotton Rhode wrap dress from The Real Real and it wasn’t until I tried it on at home that I realized I could also wear it open like this! It’s making me want more duster styles….keep your eyes out. This special jacket and this 70s inspired long vest would do a similar thing! Oh and this one too.

Jenni Kayne Cable 1/4 Zip Cardigan Styled Over A Maxi Dress

I’ve had this dress for 3 years now and I’m not surprised they still sell it because it’s so versatile! I’ve styled it so many different ways: with marigold yellow chunky birks and a matching bag, with an oversized denim jacket, and then most recently with this 1/4 cotton cable sweater for a beach hang and dinner with girlfriends.

Shirt Dress & Scarf Styling

Shirt Dress (old Gap), Vintage Pucci Scarf, Sunglasses

Pulling this very old Gap poplin shirt dress out of my closet was a good reminder how timeless a shirt dress silhouette is. There’s definitely an art to the amount of fabric and swing, and this one is as similar as I can find. Also, loving a silk scarf tucked into a button down dress or shirt lately too! How beautiful are these new and vintage Pucci scarves? I love these sunnies so much that I might need to snag them in the new ice blue color.

Tank (secondhand Zimmerman), JeansBeltSneakers, Vintage Necklaces

We had a crazy heat wave in San Francisco a couple weeks ago so it was a chance to get reacquainted with some warm weather styles I had packed in the back of my closet—like my fave wide leg jeans in a light wash. I love keeping my eye on secondhand Zimmerman knits (but this new one sure is cute). Ground this look with a dark belt and red sneaks (these would have been great though too).

Figue Top (secondhand from TRR), BeltJeans

This top was another recent Real Real score by an old brand, Figue—I scored it for $40 (and wow, here’s the exact one for $16). I’m just obsessed with the punchy boho print….the florals remind me of California poppies!

Always appreciate a good statement top find—I always keep my eyes out for them secondhand by designers like Sea NY, Cara Cara, Ulla Johnson, & Farm Rio.

Denim Shirt & Scarf Styling
Chambray TopJeansBelt, Vintage Celine Scarf, Vintage Earrings

You can’t ever go wrong with denim on denim. I personalized this look with an 80s style scarf and button earrings. S&S was born out of a love for iconic 80s classics— bold gold, coin earrings, rich neutrals— and I will always love the pieces I’ve collected over the years. Here’s a scarf that says it all!

Sweater (old Boden), JeansSneakers, Vintage Necklaces

You know me— spring, summer, winter or fall, I’m always into some sort of a bright knit. This one is old Boden but I am loving this option and this one right now too. What do you think? Do you like a sunny playful vibe like this?

CardiganJeansTankFlats, Vintage Chanel Tote, Vintage Hermès Scarf

Back to the classic 80s vibes with this vintage Hermès scarf! I love the pastels with the gold and browns. A scarf is always such a simple way to dress up a basic tankjeans and cardigan situation. If you want to wear one like ,this make sure it’s at least 34” x 34”.

I’m so glad I’ve invested in rich dark brown accessories over the past few years—it’s always a treat to pull this vintage Chanel tote out for meetings on the town.

Banana Republic Denim Shift Dress

My mom and I both got this cute denim shift dress recently and have lots of plans for it! I loved wearing it with rich browns a couple weeks ago but since then, it’s been so warm that I’ve also worn it on it’s own with sneakers and a marigold bag. Such a win that the styling can so easily be changed up with different necklaces, layers, and shoes.

My mom is going to wear it on a trip with this cardigan and bag.

Oversized Gap The Big Shirt

JeansTop, Vintage Necklace, Flats

So crisp and simple always— an oversized button down with a slim pair of jeans. I think a bold red stripe is always a great option to have on hand too. And these sure are fun, denim ballet flats!
