The Shopbop Sale Is Worth It

If you’re looking to invest in high-quality staples for your closet, the Shopbop Fall Sale is one you can count on every year. Depending on your spend, you can save 15–25% on select styles with code STYLE—perfect for jeans, lounge sets, shoes, knits, and other foundational pieces.

Here’s my guide to making the most of it:

Start with denim. I love shopping their curated selection and staying up to date with silhouettes and wearable washes.

  1. Agolde Ren in disclosure wash– a perfect medium blue, wide leg, and great length for shorter frames.

  2. Citizen of Humanity Charlotte in wynwood wash– my most worn pair in a vintage-inspired wash. Also a great length for boots.

  3. Citizen’s of Humanity Ayla Crop in doheny wash– my favorite wide-leg spring/summer jeans, I also have them in this light wash.

  4. Agolde Ren in control wash– a dark wash versatile for fall and winter. Planning to grab the white pair in this sale I love the fit so much!

  5. Agolde 90’s Pinch Straight in crushed grey– just picked these up, so clean and classic with the straight leg. I’ll snap a pic of the fit when I wear them with some pointed toe shoes.

  6. Agolde Riley Crop in frequency wash– my favorite straight cropped pair. I have them in an old wash but I’ve had this one bookmarked too.

Keep an eye on lounge—there are so many great options. I’ve been wearing this ribbed sweater set (polo & pants in size XS) for almost three years; it’s a perfect weight (especially if you live somewhere cold!) and it holds its shape beautifully/ doesn’t pill. It also comes in black, and I love wearing it both as a set and as separates. I’m planning to scoop up the white short sleeve sweater and pants from the same brand to try.

I also love this Beyond Yoga set in navy—the waistband on the pants is fun and flattering and the top has a feminine fit. It might also be a great time to try the Jenni Kayne matching sweatshirt & joggers, which I’ve heard has a tailored fit and drape that isn’t stiff.

I invested in this Ganni tie top last year and have worn it nonstop! I love having a black poplin top that transitions effortlessly between seasons—it pairs perfectly with cords in the fall, white jeans in the spring, and shorts or linen in the summer. I have the size 34 in case you’re wondering about the European sizing.

I can’t believe this one is on sale! My all-time favorite Jenni Kayne Cotton Cable 1/2 Zip is perfect for bopping around on the weekend. I have the size XS. I also spotted the grey cashmere cocoon cardigan on sale—this is by far my most worn Jenni Kayne piece in my closet.

I have the Tory Burch chunky sandals in both white and black and wear them both the same, but unfortunately only the white pair is on sale- double sale that is. They’re so comfortable for walking and add a sporty edge to an otherwise feminine look.

Here are a few other items I own and love—some are also on double sale.

  1. Levi’s Ribcage Full Length Jeans in valley view wash-my go-to dark wash for nights out. They’re a bit sold out, but you can still find them fully in stock here (the photos aren’t the best, though).

  2. Farm Rio matching Top & Shorts– I wore this set on my birthday and love the vibrant pop of color!

  3. Rag & Bone Belt just snagged the white version recently, such a solid classic.

  4. Superga 2750 Cotu Sneakers– your size may be sold out, but it’s a perfect time to grab a fresh pair of white kicks if you need them.

  5. Polo Hat– my favorite color for all things; works with black and white every time.

  6. Loeffler Randall Theo Sandals I scored mine on TRR, and they’re perfect with wide-leg pants or dresses.

  7. Lunya Eye Mask– this makes for an extra luxe self-care moment in silk. I love the bulkier size too. Also a great gift idea!

  8. HaviannasNew Balance 574sHanky Panky underwear– always good to refresh the tried and trues when they’re on sale- if you need them.

And lastly, a couple of worthwhile investments I may try. Happy sale shopping! If you didn’t get enough, you can see all my Shopbop hearts here.

  1. Reformation Fringe Tote– I’m obsessed with the rich color and fringe. Would add some texture and movement to an otherwise basic look.

  2. Loeffler Randall Leopard Clutch– chic, timeless, and perfect for elevating casual or dressy looks.

  3. Leset Pointelle Tee– I’ve been wanting one for layering; a versatile wardrobe staple.

  4. Agolde Denim Jacket after seeing my friend’s oversized jacket this weekend, I’m inspired to add a new one to my collection.

  5. Hill House Home Dress I’ve been eyeing this print for a while; perfect for a wedding or dressed down with a sweater and sneakers.

  6. Loeffler Randall Boots cannot go wrong with these if you’re in the market for a new pair of tall fall boots.

  7. Madewell Belt a classic black belt with a wide leather strap, always a reliable staple.

  8. Reformation White Top I ordered this last year and loved it so much, though I ultimately went with the Doen Henri Top because it was so similar. It was a hard decision!

  9. Lizze Fortunato Beaded Necklace the light blue is so pretty and would pop nicely with a dark neutral.

  10. Ulla Johnson Stripe Top definitely an investment piece, but I’m obsessed it feels oh so special.

  11. Susana Monaco Off Shoulder Top she does the best knit tops; this one is romantic yet tasteful for a night out.
